Yukon Quest Professional Photo Tours

Our Yukon Quest Pro Photo Tour is tailored to meet the needs of the professional photographer covering the Yukon Quest race. The Super Cub is the best fixed wing aircraft available for aerial photography. When properly flown it performs almost like a helicopter. It also provides the flexibility to land practically anywhere along the trail, for once in a lifetime photo opportunities. Depending on conditions we land at all the checkpoints and dog drops as well as Rosebud, Eagle and American summits. Some of the best shots come from being able to land anywhere along the Yukon and 40-Mile Rivers. We provide all logistics on our 12-14 day Yukon Quest trips. Our all-inclusive trip includes all food, lodging and a visit to a hot springs. All you need to bring is your camera gear, warm winter clothes, and sleeping bag. We normally fly a little each day but seldom more than 4 hours per day. Typically we’ll overnight at Chena Hot Springs, Central, Slavens or Eagle, Dawson, Scroggie Creek, Stepping Stone, Carmacks, Whitehorse. Lodging arrangements vary depending on the clients needs and the circumstances on the trail. Typical arrangements include hotel, roadhouse or cabin, and village schools. You will need to arrange transportation to and from Fairbanks and Whitehorse. We will be able to take 1 client on the 2007 Yukon Quest.
