Outer Limits Alaska has been offering unique pro photo and adventure tours of the Yukon Quest and Iditarod sled dog races since 2003. We use a ski-equipped Piper Super Cub for the utmost in safety, reliability and flexibility.

Outer Limits Alaska is owned and operated by Zack Knaebel, a lifelong Alaskan. He was born in 1977 in Fairbanks and raised in the interior of Alaska. He started taking flying lessons when he was 11 years old and has been flying bush Alaska ever since. He has extensive experience in the wilds of Alaska as a pilot and a guide both in summer and in winter.

Zack first volunteered for the Quest as a Ham Radio operator at Scroggie Creek dog drop in the early 1990’s, and has also flown for the volunteer Yukon Quest air force. His enthusiasm and interest in the Quest and Iditarod will help to make your trip enjoyable and rewarding. Your safety and comfort are our top priority.
